Nah’Zia’s Story: The Heart Behind Nah'Zia's Corner
Nah’Zia was a bright, joyful soul who touched every life she encountered. She had a smile that could light up a room, a loving heart that cared deeply for others, and a playful spirit that brought warmth and laughter to those around her. She was more than a daughter, sister, and friend, she was a reminder of the beauty and kindness this world should hold.
In 2021, Nah’Zia’s life was tragically cut short by suicide. Her passing shattered our world but also ignited a mission: to ensure no other family feels the pain we carry, and no child feels alone, unseen, or unloved. Nah’Zia’s Corner was created to honor her life and transform her memory into a force for change.
Through this organization, we spread awareness about mental health, bullying prevention, and suicide prevention. We offer hope, education, and resources to families, schools, and communities so every child knows they have a safe space and someone who cares. Nah’Zia’s spirit lives on in every smile we bring to a child’s face, every act of kindness we inspire, and every life we help save.

Our Impact
At Nah’Zia’s Corner, we are committed to turning pain into purpose and creating lasting change in our community. Since we began, we have served over 500 students through our events and outreach, showing each child they are valued, loved, and supported.
Each year, we host our Annual Anti-Bullying Back-to-School Giveaway, a powerful event that not only prepares children for the school year but also uplifts and empowers them:
Bookbag & School Supply Giveaway: Hundreds of children receive brand-new bookbags and essential school supplies, helping families ease financial burdens and start the school year with confidence.
Mental Health Resources: We partner with local organizations and advocates to provide families with access to mental health tools, support, and guidance.
Inspiring Guest Speakers: Educators, mental health professionals, and community leaders share powerful messages about resilience, kindness, and hope.
Bullying Prevention Education: We equip children and parents with knowledge and resources to identify, prevent, and address bullying in schools and communities.
